Biography
Seren Erden is a Minneapolis based photographer and videographer. Her work mostly consists of portraits, exploring the underlying spiritual qualities of life. She is currently working towards her Bachelors degree in Art at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities; with a focus on photography, videography, and film. She expects to graduate in the Spring of 2024. 
 

Artist Statement
Using digital photos and videos, I aim to capture the emotional duality and spiritual undercurrents of the human experience. I am especially drawn to unique beauty that may go unnoticed. I believe it is an honor to capture someone’s energy, and to be trusted with their vulnerability. It is important to me that they feel comfortable in expressing themselves authentically - so I give them some of the creative reins. More than anything, my work feels like a collaboration between my subject and I.
